The San Juan Cruise Terminal is conveniently located near Old San Juan in
Puerto Rico. Depending on where your cruise ship docks, it is possible
to walk into town. If, however, you are docked on the far side of the
harbor a taxi ride will be required.
Because many cruises to the Eastern Caribbean and Southern Caribbean
originate in San Juan, many visitors like to arrive in Puerto Rico early, rent a car at
the San Juan Airport and explore the island of Puerto Rico before departing
on the cruise from San Juan.
